INCIDENT: PC 25850(a)- Possession of a Loaded Firearm
LOCATION: 74000 Block of Joe Davis Drive, Twentynine Palms, CA
SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old Juvenile Resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 26, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station were conducting foot patrol at the Spring Rotary Carnival in Twentynine Palms.
Deputies were flagged down by an attendee for a subject in possession of a firearm. Deputies contacted a 15-year-old juvenile matching the description provided by the attendee. During contact with the juvenile, he was found to be wearing ballistic armor and concealing a loaded firearm. The juvenile was detained and later booked at the Central Juvenile Detention Center for Penal Code 25850(a)- Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
