Investigators search for cause of house fire

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 1:30 A.M., deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to a house fire near the 5000 Block of Harris Drive in Johnson Valley. Deputies discovered the entire house was engulfed in flames; however, it did not appear anyone was inside. Fire Department personnel arrived and extinguished the fire. San Bernardino County Fire Investigators and Sheriff’s Bomb and Arson detectives are investigating the cause of the fire.
