The best thing about living in the desert is the interesting people you can meet. Fay and I were planting a few trees this morning , looked up from our digging to see a young fellow pushing a Pram down Highway 62 heading to Twentynine Palms. His moniker he proudly stated was “Subway Sean.” He is walking across America to raise money for poor city kids to breathe the fresh air of the forest and even climb mountains. He hopes to make a difference in the lives of his fellow people of Boston, MA.
