Ballot Box Revolution

For years I have been an advocate for the “dump the incumbents” theory of politics. I’ve always thought that 8 years is good enough for anyone in politics. Two terms no more than that. I’ve also though that some folks should never serve more than one. It depends on two related observations. In the first case some people are just to smart for their own good and learn how to manipulate the system in just a few months and end up stealing the system blind. In the second case...

Well with the theft of  the “Mojave Cross” we’d like to announce our idea for replacement. I propose a exact copy of the Art Deco-style statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue stands 32 m (125 feet) tall, weighs 1000 tons. I figure that we should not let a good opportunity to replace a Veterans Monument go to waste. The new monument will be a lot harder for ACLU loon types to steal.

Arizona Law is hated because it could be effective

To understand the hysterical reaction to Arizona’s new immigration initiative, consider the numbers, says Heather Mac Donald, a contributing editor at City Journal and a co-author of “The Immigration Solution.” For example: There are 6,000 federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents tasked with restoring the rule of law in a country that already contains between 12 and 20 million immigration law-breakers. Any intending illegal immigrant knows that if he can get across the border undetected, he faces a minute risk of being apprehended on U.S. soil. By comparison, the...
