The ruin of the Pink Flamingo Hotel continues to haunt the city. Now this abandoned 33-room hotel is being stripped of copper pipe by thieves who find it easy picking as the walls are all opened up. The city invested $250,000 in a failed scheme that only made matters worse. Thieves, squatters and wild animals have taken over.
