Hi-Desert Water District: Not All Schools are “Created Equal”

Morongo Unified School District Pays The Going Rate For Their Water Yucca Valley, Ca.- I sent three emails  to various department heads to find out if the Morongo Unified School District received a discounted water rate.  After all, they are one of the largest water users and serve thousands of students.  I wanted to know if they were “getting a break” or a “discount” for their water usage and besides, the Town uses their grass football field for the annual 4th of July fireworks show. Per the HDWD, they do not have CIMIS...

Candidates- It Costs you Nada!

AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL CANDIDATES Morongo Basin, Ca.- Dear Candidates, Do you have $25,000.00 to spend on your campaign? Did you answer no to these questions?…..Welcome to the club.  There are decent and honest candidates that want to serve our community that need to get their message out to the voters.  I do not...

Gentlemen, did you bump your heads?

Gentlemen, did you bump your heads?

When you loose the support of the Unions or at least the rank and file of the local School District, you pretty much can kiss your political future away. When 42 teachers have been or will be given their Pink Slips, it is a tough sale when the City Manager is given a $200,000 golden parachute. And when you tell folks that are about to loose their jobs or have their hours cut that the city plans to hire one guy for what out here in the boonies is...

Sherry Hall Steps Over The Line

Let me tell you and the rest of the blog what Ms. Hall did just the other day – Friday the 15th of January, 2010. Ms. Hall thought it would be appropriate to call the Sheriff’s Department to complain about my actions as an elected official. It appears that Ms. Hall thinks that I can be swayed or silenced by my employer if she complains that what I do and think as an elected official is just not right in her opinion. I have thought about this matter for...
