MCSO PRESS RELEASE January 4, 2011 FAILURE TO REGISTER – KINGMAN Mohave County Sheriff’s Sex Offender Registration Officer arrested Richard Glen Gibson, 59, of Bullhead City, late Monday (1/3) morning for failure to register as a sex offender registration, felony. Approximately 10:45 a.m., the Sex Offender Registration Officer contacted Gibson at Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Lake Arrowhead, Ca– On Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at about 1:15 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle belonging to a known fugitive, Lake Arrowhead resident, 31-year-old Kimberly Griggs. Griggs pulled into a residence on Aleutian Dr. and as the deputy approached the vehicle, he saw a male subject, thought to be Gidney, walk out from the doorway of the residence. On 12/29/09, approximately 2:30 am, The La Quinta Police Department received a report regarding an assault with a deadly weapon at a residence in the 55000 block of Laurel Valley Way in La Quinta. La Quinta– Neighbors came to the rescue of a 34 year old woman who was stabbed several times during a domestic altercation Tuesday night at about 9:30 PM. The first aid and quick action by the off-duty nurse and other residents is believed to have helped save the victim’s life.
