Martin thought he got away with it.

On Saturday January 22, 2011, at about 10:00 PM, an officer from the Coachella Police Department was driving in a marked unit equipped with an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) near Grapefruit Blvd. and Avenue 52. NCPA: Canada’s Competitive Edge

It was not long ago that Americans viewed Canada as a poorer neighbor with only one competitive advantage — in hockey.  No more: On January 1, Ottawa cut the nation’s corporate tax rate to 16.5 percent from 18 percent, compared to the U.S. federal rate of 35 percent, reports the Wall Street Journal. If they got out with the millions of families that enjoy the great outdoors every weekend they might stop looking...

The “Paisano” program: Mexico’s Double Standard

While Mexico is all in Arizona’s ass for passing a law to enforce Federal Laws protecting American Citizens and Legal Foreign Nationals, they are all into protecting their borders from smuggling and illegal entry. This is an example of, “do as we say not as we do.” Paisano Program for a Pleasant Return to Mexico | Holtville Tribune · I.V. Weekly-Chronicle By Mario Conde / Holtville Tribune The Mexican government will be monitoring how its co-nationals are treated when they come back to Mexico for vacation through the “Paisano” program. No Picking (your nose) Law

Only in Canada – No Picking (your nose) Law For those of you not following the news over in the Great White North I will fill you in a little bit. Last month the ‘distracted driving’ law came into effect, where-as you will not be able to chat away on a cell phone while driving without risk of incurring a fine of up to $500. It seems one Canadian politician wants to take it one step further! Jim Bradlley (Ontario’s transportation minister) made this statement Thursday after telling reporters...
