Gary Daigneault-Unable to Apologize Publically on Radio

December 30, 2011
By
evolution-of-lying-460x307

Commentary- I believe in giving someone a second chance to do the right thing. I waited to post this commentary after the Z107.7 Friday talk show to see if Gary Daigneault, owner of the little radio station in this community, would apologize to Cora Heiser as he had promised last week. He did not keep his word. While claiming to “serve the community” with his radio broadcasts, Daigneault has used radio broadcasts to bully certain citizens and to promote his biased point of view on several matters. Some have called...

Yucca Valley: Hard News Intentionally Underreported or Censored?

Well, well… Santa Clause is back. Margo keeps giving the gift of transparency while the local news media fumbles the ball. Excellence in journalism? Censorship? Underreporting? Free Press? You decide. Btw, the unreported Santa Fe Assisted Living civil lawsuit against the Braswells Medical Care facilities alleging  “Wrongful Death,” “Elder Abuse” and other causes of action, filed by Plaintiff Dara Oertel, et al., as successors-in-interest just slipped through the news media cracks.  The civil suit was filed on April 12, 2010. The Deceased, Marilyn Avantini, heirs’ legal action against Brasswells...

There have been several breaking stories about Yucca Valley characters stacking up and creating a huge backlog!   Besides, I did not want to break into the rhythm of the excellent coverage about the City of Twentynine Palms by those posting on the local issues and missteps of Gary Daigneault regarding “his” RDA project….wink-wink! It appears he owes Ms. Cora an apology...

eating_money-225x300

“Daigneault has failed to shove a sock in the mouth of critics with whom he disagrees. ” By Dean Grey, Publisher desertstatweekly.com December 16, 2011 There has been a a lot of loose talk about libel and slander in the high and low desert these days. California has one of the most liberal interpretations of free speech in the nation, and our desert communities are not barren of threats against...
