Unfortunately, we live in a world where it’s not even safe to stand in front of your local super market and listen to a public figure speak. At the same time, every person who...

We are living at a most important time for our Republic

Today we are living in great and important times for individual liberty and freedom. Yesterday the Supreme Court heard McDonald v. Chicago. The case, was the logical follow to the court’s 5 to 4 decision in District of Columbia v. Heller. That 2008 decision established for the first time that the Second Amendment’s “right to keep and bear arms” referred to an individual right, not one related to military service. But the decision that there is a right to keep a gun in one’s home did not extend beyond...

Don’t loose your liberty by default

If you want to save your sport you got to stand and be counted brothers and sisters. If you want trails come to the public meetings and say so. If you want to continue to have hunting opportunities in the city come to the public meetings and tell your Public Officials. Mike Hawkins, his lovely wife and I were the only ones at the 29 Palms City Council tonight speaking for both off roaders and 2nd Amendment issues. That was pitiful friends… pitiful. Off-Roaders and Hunters be advised I...

Armed shopper with .45-cal. Colt revolver shoots bad guy

“He was like an angel who came to save everybody.”  — Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond, Va. Steve Donnell tells me that there are many legal conceal and carry residents in  unincorporated Hi-Desert San Bernardino County. He should know. He’s the guy that teaches required classes as one of the prerequisite in order for a County permit to be issued. Why should bad guys be the only ones that carry? Here is an interesting little story. Bad guy storms food store. Orders everyone to the floor. Bad guy shoots store clerk...
