Palm trees are dangerous. I’ve seen the damage the head of one can do to a guard shack. The way they are trimmed and watered makes them extremely top heavy. They are expensive to take down so they are left.
We have an off road accident in which willing participants were killed and the public reacts. We have a death of an unwilling participant and the public is silent.

And that is why sometimes we print this stuff…. Moises’ story needs telling. As tragic as it is if it makes one person check the condition of their Palms it might well save a life and then his loss will not be without purpose and reason.

I really feel bad for the Casas family.
