I’m pro-OHV. OHV’s + Open Desert + Family Sport = A great economic idea for the City of Twentynine Palms. I do not own an OHV or participate in OHV activities. I remember as a kid having great times trail riding on mini-bike and later my Suzuki 50 motorcycle and the great times my family and several other families had when we would get together almost every weekend and ride Snow Mobiles during the winter season. We would share stories of our adventures, drink hot chocolate and eat Sloppy Joes. In case you don’t know, Michigan has a comprehensive trails system that help keep these family sports safe and has many additional co-uses such as Snow Mobiles, cross country skiing, OHV’s, equestrian and hiking. …(read more)

We appreciate you Steve

RIGHT ON!!
I’m not presently a resident of the beautiful City of 29 Palms but all of my friends who are will surly vote for him! And when he is elected we will all help him keep those promicesses. I would be inspired to move to the 29 Palms invisioned by Steve. Serious!
Say, how about Steve Whitten for King of Yucca too!
At least it’s a plan. Sounds like a business plan. The city would be competing with Johnson Valley and the open desert. Cal City is a unique situation.
The idea of a track if one could conquer the liability issue might be a good one though. If enough enthusiasts joined together the money could be raised privately.

We live in the desert surrounded by dust, you run, it kicks up dust, the UPS man driving down the street kicks up dust. Everything that is done in the desert kicks up dust period.
You are dilusion if you think we are going to live in a dust free enviroment! You don’t want dust, move up to northern CA, they have lots of grass to hold those pesky dust particles down.
Thank you for you opinions Steve. It is good that someone can see the benefits of OHV without putting a leg over a bike.
Cal city is a failed development covering a couple hundred miles of disturbed land. The third largest city in California. How is this relative to 29?
