Christmas shopping comes early for some in Yucca Valley. Someone out there is already into the joy of Christmas spirit by breaking into vehicles in search of gifts. At 11:30 a.m. Monday,a pickup parked near the community Senior Center was visited. A new Sony 14.1 pixel digital camera was taken from the vehicle. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to proud owner of this camera. Someone worked very hard for that.

This would be a prime area for detectives to set up a sting operation. It really works well in L.A. — stashing a hotly sought after electronic something or other on the seat of a vehicle with a window half open. The suckers out number the careful predators.
