This news really started my day off on a sour note. I have known “drywall” Mike for about 9 years from playing golf. He probably had more fun playing golf than anyone I have known. He always played himself off to be the class clown so to speak, but, he was a sharp person. The last time I played with him he was my partner in a tourney and we won. He was so excited to be on my team in a tourney. I won’t forget his emotions and happiness after that win. Rest In Peace brother.
I too knew Mike. He had played at the H.J. Memorial Golf Tournament many a time and was one of the few ones that have won a “Gold Shirt” for winning in the tournament.
I hope that both families find the strength to bear with this event.
Amen Steve, we lost a good man. Godspeed Mike
Either two of you guys have a photo of Mike…. We’ll put’er up. Someone find out when the services are.
Mike was my Uncle, and he was the greatest uncle anyone could ever ask for. He was amazing, such a goof but always strong and supportive. Nothing in this world will ever be the same again.
Rae, your uncle touched alot of people. Me for one. Would you please keep us posted on any services that are planned. Our mens club at the golf course would like to know. I have been on the phone with alot of our members and they are devestated.
