On 07-07-10, the 16 year old female victim reported to the Chino Hills Police Department that she was sexually involved with her band teacher, Justin Wallin. Wallin was her band teacher at Chino Hills High School while the sexual relationship was occurring. The victim’s parents discovered sexually explicit text messages on the victim’s cell phone sent from Wallin. After reviewing their phone bill, they discovered over 8,000 text messages from Wallin to the victim’s phone. It was discovered that Wallin had engaged in various sex acts with the victim in the city limits of Chino Hills, Chino and at this residence.
An investigation was initiated by Deputy MJ Higgins and Detective Oros from the Chino Hills Police Department. Evidence was obtained regarding the allegations and the suspect was subsequently arrested without incident on July 8, 2010 from the Chino Hills High School campus. He was transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 261.5(c) Unlawful Sexual Intercourse, PC 288a(b)(1) Oral Copulation and PC 289 (h) Sexual Penetration with a Foreign Object. Bail was set at $100,000.00 and he has been released on bail.
Justin Wallin is currently employed by Chino Unified School District. Detectives are concerned that there may be additional victims and are asking that anyone who has information regarding the suspect or believes they may have been a victim to contact Detective Kathy Oros at (909) 364-2061 at the Chino Hills Police Department or their local law enforcement agency
