Morongo Basin, Ca.,- My appearance before the San Bernardino Board of Supervisors via teleconference was to follow up on my “Open Letter to Supervisor James Ramos,” expressing my concern over decommissioning someone for their opinions as a private individual. My letter was forwarded to each member of the BOS and their respective Chief of Staff prior to the scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting and emailed to 235 news agencies as a Press Release. During the Public Comment section of the Big MAC, Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council meeting held on June 9, 2014, I asked for a moment of silence in honor of David Peach who was removed from the dais and for the erosion of our First Amendment right of Free Speech.
I held up the DVD of Hi-Desert Water District Director Sarann Graham’s personal rant while seated on the HDWD dais attacking David Peach for his private personal vocal opinions and asked why she was not removed? Obviously a double standard for the “Elected Officials” and a slap in the face for Free Speech. Graham was “enticed” to share her thoughts on television at a HDWD meeting as a Director and stated she would have Peach removed from his position. Related post>LINK
I also asked the question as to why the Hi-Desert Water District is working hard to silence any criticism about the sewer project…what are they hiding?
Several news organizations have picked up this story and an attorney has reached out to Peach to review his legal options. Peach is scheduled to be interviewed by a local radio station in a live broadcast.
