Joshua Tree, Ca.,-Now in its 12th straight year, the spring Joshua Tree Music Festival continues its tradition of curating a list of unique acts that run from thump hop to electro funk and more.
“I want a diverse line up,” said Barnett English, who founded the event in 2002. “Starting in high school, I made over 500 mixed tapes, then 200 plus mixed CDs and now playlists. The festival is a ‘live’ mixed tape. You want the audience to go on a musical journey, one that is varied and diverse. That said, we end up with artists from all over the world and crossing many genres.”
The event is scheduled for May 15-18 at the Joshua Tree Lake Campground featuring 28 groups, including Nahko & Medicine For The People, Kraak & Smaak and singer/songwriter Myshkin on two alternating music stages.
There also will be a kidsville with activities like face painting, jewelry jamboree and more. Story source>link
