“If the captioned organization contracts with a commercial fundraiser for charitable purposes or fundraising counsel, that entity must also register and file annual reports with the Registry.” >THEATRE_29_9809036239523_(1)
Would that apply to the recent San Bernardino County “Give BIG” fundraiser that required all non-profits to be in compliance prior to April 1, 2014…which Theatre 29 was not in compliance. Story>link
What about this report by Gary Daigneault dated June 24, 2010 announcing a grant hired Marina del Rey architect Tony Pleskow who produced a fundraising package? From Z107.7:
(See the local news page on kcdzfm.com for some of the pictures shown by Daigneault.) Daigneault declined to state a cost for the building, nor did he specify a timeline. He did say that the Theatre will be exploring all funding options, both private and public. He also reported that RSG consultant Frank Spevacek, currently working on the General Plan Update, advises that the project be built downtown, to benefit business there.” Source>link
Darn those pesky details, eh?
