money4Twentynine Palms, Ca.,-There are rules and regulations to participate in the San Bernardino County Fundraiser for active non-profits.  Given the final warning to Theatre29 by the Attorney General for non-compliance…How is it that Theatre29 has their hand out for donations?

The Community Foundation’s application requires that any non-profit be registered with the California Registry of Charitable Trusts AS OF APRIL 1, 2014?

Theatre 29 filed an  application and is on the official list.  So did they misrepresent their status?  Did The Community Foundation verify the registration status?

Also, The Community Foundation is charging each non-profit $100 to register to be part of the Give Big Campaign even though the literature says there is no fee.  http://givebigsbcounty.razoo.com/giving_events/gbsb14/rules
