San Bernardino County- The 460′s of several candidates have been posted by IePolitics for review covering the filing period of 01/01/2014 through 03/17/2014. These reports report the amounts donated to the candidate and list the expenditures.
San Bernardino County limits contributions to $4,100 per person or business per election cycle. Contributions are not deductible for personal or business income tax purposes. This limit of $4,100 per election cycle has produced interesting and creative ways to stay within those limitations.
The Administrator of IePolitics writes,
“I couldn’t help but enjoy the fact that five members of the Ramos (James) family each contributed $4,100 to Ramos (Mike). I don’t care for any other reason than it makes certain people’s blood boil. Earl Carter also donated $4,100. That is the frosting on the cake.” Updated: March 24, 2014 at 11:57 pm
