Man dies in Auto vs Motorcycle Accident

crash-graphicAt 10:13 PM on March 20, 2014, a 911 call reporting an auto versus motorcycle on westbound Twentynine Palms Highway, at the intersection with Wamego Trail, in Yucca Valley.  Paramedics pronounced the operator of the motorcycle, David Michael Hayes, a 59 year old resident of Yucca Valley, dead at the scene at 10:24 PM.  The collision is under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).

The Public Affairs Division consists of specialized units, Media Liaison, Community Liaison, Labor/Industrial Relations, Operation CleanSWEEP, Crime-Free Multi-Housing, Juvenile Intervention Program and Special Projects.
