For residents who have been unable to attend our eight week Community Police Academy, who may be considering volunteering, or just want to know more about what police work is like, The Desert Hot Springs Police Department is pleased to announce a condensed one day version of our community academy on Saturday March 22, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Academy is designed to provide residents with an overview of department operations and to continue to build on the strong relationships within the community. Pizza lunch will be provided. Deadline to R.S.V.P. is March 13.

This free class is open to city and county residents of Desert Hot Springs. For more information or to R.S.V.P., contact Community Resource Specialist Jim Knabb at 760-329-2904 Extension 340, or by email at jknabb@dhspd.com.
