81 Page Complaint Filed in Superior Court Against the Town of Yucca Valley

yvThis is going to be a costly lawsuit against Yucca Valley. It deals with interim Town Manager Shane Stueckle‘s and Town Council’s management of a developer. As you can see below there are eight defendants. The complaint was filed on January 13, 2014. Yucca Valley will have thirty days in which to respond to the Summons and Complaint after the town has been served.

The record reflects that the Complaint has been filed in San Bernardino Superior Court, but not yet served on Yucca Valley.

It appears that the town council inter alia may have another problem with failing to provide proper notice to impacted parties.

I have been informed and believe, as following: “The attorney accused Shane of failing to return phone calls, and arranging for action by the Town Council with inadequate notice to the owners of the subdivision.  The action was apparently precipitated by the Town withdrawing permits for the subdivision.”

    • Dan, It is doubtful that the town has been served with the complaint. Moreover, I suspect maybe TC members may not even know about the suit unless they read CT.

I plan on sending a request for records just as soon as I have time tomorrow or today.

Branson Hunter, thank you for your good work, it's about time somebody did something to this town Council, they have been running amok for very long time, it's time to stop the town Council and their out of control spending. And all their illegal activities!
