This is going to be a costly lawsuit against Yucca Valley. It deals with interim Town Manager Shane Stueckle‘s and Town Council’s management of a developer. As you can see below there are eight defendants. The complaint was filed on January 13, 2014. Yucca Valley will have thirty days in which to respond to the Summons and Complaint after the town has been served.
The record reflects that the Complaint has been filed in San Bernardino Superior Court, but not yet served on Yucca Valley.
It appears that the town council inter alia may have another problem with failing to provide proper notice to impacted parties.
I have been informed and believe, as following: “The attorney accused Shane of failing to return phone calls, and arranging for action by the Town Council with inadequate notice to the owners of the subdivision. The action was apparently precipitated by the Town withdrawing permits for the subdivision.”
