Reports: 3.0-magnitude earthquake strikes near Yucca Valley

On the anniversary of the Northridge Earthquake, last evening a 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck one-mile south of Yucca Valley.

A minor earthquake occurred at 8:24:39 PM (PST) on Friday, January 17, 2014.
The magnitude 3.0 event occurred 2 km (1 miles) S of Yucca Valley, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 5 km ( 3 miles)
