car-cars-traffic-jam-350Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Did I forget to tell you Horrible?!

Well I had to come up the front way from the 10 on Highway 62. The traffic was Horrible!

What group of idiots came up with the need to divide highway 62 through the old part of Yucca Valley? Why or for that matter what possessed them to pick the Holiday shopping season to ruin, yes I said ruin the shopping experience of those wishing to expand their horizons past Super Walmart?

Someone must pay for this disturbing exercise in government overreach. Someone’s head needs to roll. Hands should be severed from taking from the Public trust such funds as to destroy the continued prosperity of those poor bastards that find themselves in what has turned out to be a new Small Businessman’s hell. I’d be beating down the door of my local Councilperson to answer where he or she was going to make it right.

Woolworths store closingThe store fronts are closing in droves as I write this. Businesses that have been there as long as I can remember are closing their doors because of this Horrible example of government excess.

Right now 29 Palms and Joshua Tree should be courting these businesses to move. We in 29 need a concerted effort to make a move to 29 as financially feasible and potentially profitable as possible. How about no sales tax for 3 years? Rent and or lease deferments for the first 6 months or a year?

Twentynine Palms has an opportunity to gain back its former retail powerhouse status with a little creative business planning.

Did I tell you about Yucca Valley’s Horrible, government overreach? Horrible!

  1. 29 is busily preparing for the return of Project Phoenix." We hope to access $10 million in Project Phoenix funds to begin the exciting process of revitalizing our downtown,” Guzzetta said (Dec. 26, 2013)

We have an inadequate fire department, a fire department soon to run completely out of money --and the council has this pipe dream of Phoenix blown up their ass.

Both 29 and Yucca have HORRIBLE GOVERNMENTS!!!!
