CHIPS_for_KidsThe Morongo Basin Area of the California Highway Patrol collected and distributed 793 toys on the 25th anniversary of the CHiPs For Kids program.

Officers volunteered their time to collect toys and then distribute the toys throughout the Morongo Basin.  The toy distribution was a joint effort with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau of Land Management.

The majority of the toys were collected on December 17th during a toy drive at the Yucca Valley Walgreens.

The California Highway Patrol wishes to thank the citizens and businesses of the Morongo Basin for their generosity.
