Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the identity of the remains found in Topock on Saturday (11/9). The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Jimmy James, 66, a transient
and his death is undetermined. James remains had no trauma. The ME’s Office was able to identify him via the hardware in his leg which he suffered from a previous accident in San Diego, California in December 2010.
Saturday (11/9) afternoon deputies responded to the scene of where human remains were located in the desert approximately .5 miles east of Needle Mountain Road where two subjects were traveling on their side-by-side when they located the remains.
