Janice Tracy Richardson, 55 years old

On 12/09/2013 at about 9:20 pm the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Yucca Valley Station attempted to stop a 1994 Toyota Camry for vehicle code violation in Yucca Valley. The vehicle, occupied by the 55 year old female driver, failed to yield. On Twentynine Palms Highway west of Hess Boulevard in Morongo Valley the vehicle struck a concrete divider and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the driver will be released following notification of next of kin. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.  Name Released: Janice Tracy Richardson, a 55 year old resident of Yucca Valley

The Public Affairs Division consists of specialized units, Media Liaison, Community Liaison, Labor/Industrial Relations, Operation CleanSWEEP, Crime-Free Multi-Housing, Juvenile Intervention Program and Special Projects.
