I suggest you don’t feed your dog anything out of China.
The FDA has again released another update for consumers regarding the safety of Chinese-made chicken jerky products for pets. Seems to me nothing out of China is safe to feed your fir-face pet given their history of contaminated food. Is anything not from China these days safe to eat?
Saturday, I fed my dog a jerky treat from China. Fortunately, China-food didn’t kill her.
Except: “Pet owners should be aware that manufacturers do not need to list the country of origin for each ingredient used in their products, so packages that do not state on the label that they are made in another country may still contain ingredients sourced from China or other countries that export to the U.S.”
Here is the The FDA’s Question and Answer news bulletin that provides all details as currently reported by the Agency to date. Should your dog get sick, from eating anything from China, report it here: http://www.fda.gov/petfoodcomplaints
