Yucca Valley, Ca.,- I received several calls from both sides of the aisle to point out the front page story of the local newspaper is no longer posted on their website. Not even 24 hours off the press and it appears their front page story about 5000 Recall signatures being turned in has been buried. I looked all over their website and could not find it either…it is now bookmarked.
The historic and breaking news headline reads, “Yucca Valley recall group turns in petitions to Town Hall” Here is the story link> here
You will also notice the online post was updated last evening at 11:14 pm but where is the story? Presently, there are only 5 comments on the story. Maybe because the story has been buried and cannot be found on the internet. Say, it’s Cindy Melland’s newspaper and she controls the news YOU need to know in our community.
It is right to bury a story that goes against the status quo..not to mention the idiotic statements made by recall target Councilman Robert Lombardo?
“Lombardo said with the town manager gone and budget allocations that kept the museum and pool open, there should be no need for the recall.
Regardless of the outcome, he said, “it does not define me. I have other interests and responsibilities.”
Lombardo just doesn’t get it.
For the reasons stated above, and there are more…Recall Huntington & Lombardo.
