On April 21, 2010 at 11:05 AM the California Highway Patrol received a call of a motorcycle that had gone over a cliff west of Yermo Road at Ft. Irwin Road.
When California Highway Patrol officers arrived they found a blue 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle that had gone over a 50 foot cliff.
There below was Jerry Silvera, a 70 year-old resident of Ontario had been ejected from the motorcycle and sustained major injuries.
Silvera was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the Barstow California Highway Patrol office are investigating the collision.
