Dean M Gray, exposed

Most of what I write is in the first person since most postings are about the subject, not me. This is different. Noted “broadcaster” Gary Daigneault has made it clear he specifically does not want another broadcaster to know what he is broadcasting on Twitter. That other broadcaster is me.

In a world increasingly open and engaging, Daigneault is censoring himself from another journalist/editor/publisher. Only God knows what powerful secrets Daigneault is hiding. Even though God is a Facebook friend of mine, he never once mentioned Daigneault in any Tweets, and I follow them all.

It is worth noting that Daigneault threatened me with a lawsuit for slander and libel a couple years ago. I just laughed off and ignored the silliness before discarding it in the trash where it belonged. I’m not much concerned about Daigneault threatening again to sue me. God knows there’s plenty of room left in my trash can.

A couple years ago I called in to Daigneault’s radio show and spoke with him on his radio show. Daigneault cut me off, giving me no chance to reply. That’s what Daigneault calls a “debate.” After he hung up on me, Daigneault carried on his rant telling people not to read my newspaper. Instead of plummeting, readership soared. This gave my pal God a good laugh. As a result of successful broadcasting, I’ve never been on his radio show since that time. I stopped listening. God didn’t.

It is not known who else is on Daigneault’s Twitter censor list created by “AP Hall of Fame Journalist” and “radio personality.” He keeps that secret. I was surprised to learn Dan O’Brien is on Daigneault’s OK list, but suspect Margo Sturges is NOT OK. Don’t know about God.

Unfortunately, Daigneault is not keeping secret his radio broadcasts by restricting radio listeners. However, the future still holds that as an attractive possibility should Daigneault’s radio station to go off the air and Daigneault further limit his “broadcasting” to an exclusive online listening audience that can be better regulated as he sees fit.
