Golden Valley, AZ– Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) detectives and Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant in the 1100 block of South Concho Road early Friday (2/22) evening. MAGNET received information that the residence may have a marijuana grow operation.
The search revealed an active marijuana grow operation in progress where the garage had been converted into a grow room. The area was equipped with lighting, a water system with timers and a cooling system. Also, a smaller marijuana grow operation existed in the residence.
Over 500 marijuana plants were seized. Plastic bags and a vacuum sealing system were located. In addition, hashish and marijuana was packaged for sales. The packaged marijuana weighed approximately 28 pounds. Weapons were confiscated.
Michael Anthony Lozano, 23, and Kristina Lynn Pineda, 20, both of Golden Valley, were arrested on produce marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of narcotic drug for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon during a drug offense, all felonies.
This case remains under investigation.
