Yucca Valley, Ca.- In another public service announcement to “Save Yucca Valley Now,” I am posting a job opening in the City of San Clemente looking to find an Assistant Manager. The earlier Assistant Manager has been promoted to City Manager.
“The beautiful coastal City of San Clemente (pop. 64,000) is seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as the Assistant City Manager (ACM). The incumbent was recently promoted to the position of City Manager.
The ACM currently directs the Finance, Information Technology, and Human Resource divisions within the Finance & Administrative Services (FAS) department and handles projects as assigned by the City Manager. Other City departments include Community Development, Public Works, and Beaches, Parks & Recreation.
The City is seeking a generalist with solid knowledge of municipal operations and the ability to oversee Finance & Administrative Services, effectively interact with staff and Council, and who has the ability to analyze City operations and make recommendations to enhance the overall operations of the City.”
