Yucca Valley, Ca.,- I received several calls from our readers to say they received their official voting ballot in the mail today. The white over sized envelope is marked in English, y Espanol, “Official Mail Ballot Material,” which has the following: the official ballot, a yellow envelope addressed to the Registrar of Voters and an 8 page Voter Information Guide which includes Candidate Statements from:
1. Robert (Bob) Leone-Retired Law Enforcement
2. Michael Hildebrand-Business Owner/Engineer Contractor
3. Jennifer Collins-Small Business Owner/Insurance Agent
***Candidate Claude Short has withdrawn from the contest and has endorsed Bob Leone. link
If you have any questions please call the Town Clerk as per her letter enclosed with the packet. Remember Town Hall closed on Fridays.
Karen Streeter with the San Bernardino Registrar of Voters explained the mail-in voting ballots have their own separate timetable and everything is mailed at once in this Special Election. She emphasized the ballot MUST ARRIVE by 5pm at their office and postmark will not count.
The Yucca Valley Post Office has confirmed the yellow return envelope requires one postage stamp.

See me if you need a postage stamp!
My Ballot came in yesterday and I’m sending it out tomorrow! I am supporting Bob Leone for Town Council! Jennifer is doing a great job where she is. Mike seems like a great guy with lots of love for the town, but Bob has the experience with the council AND working with other gov’t entities. He gets my vote!
