On Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 01:30 PM, deputies from the Southern Coachella Valley Communities Services District Team served three search warrants in reference to farm equipment theft that took place in the 84000 block of Johnson Street, Oasis. Stolen property was collected during the search warrants. Four subjects were arrested:

- Victor Perez, 18 of Oasis was arrested for possession of fictitious government documents.
- Refugio Montanez, 43 of Oasis was arrested for an assault with a deadly weapon warrant.
- Delia Montanez, 26 of Oasis, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
- Haley Mcclain, 34 of Oasis, was arrested for a vehicle theft warrant.
The Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District funds deputies to increase the level of proactive enforcement in the southern end of the Coachella Valley.
