Lake Havasu City, AZ– Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Edge Paul, 48, of Lake Havasu City, early Friday (1/18) evening for assault, disorderly conduct and contempt of court, misdemeanors. Approximately 5:14 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance outside of a residence in the 3000 block of Mescalero Drive.

Dispatch advised that a male subject spit food on the reporting party and shoved him.

Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 41-year-old male victim. The victim advised that he is a contractor and he was there to provide an estimate for a property owner. The victim further advised that he parked his truck in front of a residence and exited his vehicle with a clipboard.

The victim said he was standing in the street leaning on his truck when Paul comes out of his residence and starts yelling at him to get off his property. The victim reported that Paul shoved him after Paul spit food on his face.

Deputies contacted a neighbor, another victim. The victim reported that Paul also started yelling at him while he stood in his driveway. The victim advised that he has an active injunction barring harassment from Paul. Deputies confirmed the injunction to be valid.

Deputies contacted another neighbor, a witness. The witness said that the contractor was standing in the street writing on his clipboard when Paul approached him. The witness further said that Paul spit food on the contractor and shoved him.

Deputies contacted Paul. Paul was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County District III Substation.
