On Tuesday, January 22, 2013, Sheriff’s Specialized Investigators were assigned to conduct an investigation at the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center.

Recently, jail staff received information regarding inappropriate contact between a male deputy and a 25 years old female inmate. An investigation began immediately and Deputy Johnathan Miller, 27, was interviewed and a search warrant was served at his residence. On Wednesday, January 23, 2013, Miller was booked at West Valley Detention Center for PC289.6(a)(2) – An employee or officer of a public entity detention facility, or an employee…who engages in sexual activity with a consenting adult who is confined in a detention facility.

Johnathan Miller posted $25,000. bail and was released from custody on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:44 a.m. Miller is currently on paid administrative leave.
