Yucca Valley, Ca.,- On November 20, 2012, the town manager, Mark Nuaimi, presented a surprise PowerPoint  noted on the agenda only as “Town Manager’s Remarks on Measure U.”  Measure U was the 1% increase sales tax for 30 years for the General Fund, which cannot legally earmarked or designated that was defeated by the voters.
