Yucca Valley, Ca.,- For some strange reason, I do not hate anyone. I learned early in life to separate the person from the deed. While I may not like the “deed,” I do not “hate” the person and it is easier to forgive them, most of the time. My husband is the same way, after walking on this planet for 79 years, there is not one single person he hates.
I do have some difficulty in handling disappointment. I am crushed by someone I look up to for their accomplishments who is our Mayor’s appointed Town Planning Commissioner, writing lies or untruths.
A recent letter to the Editor published in the Hi-Desert Star for all to read recently came down on opponents of Measure U… it read in part:
“Some of the opponents to Measure U resorted to name calling, conspiracy theories and calls for grand jury investigations. How petty! This childish pettiness has carried over to the upcoming election for Town Council.
(Name Redacted) has been personally vilified by certain blogs with name calling, out right lies and attacks on her family and marriage. Her only sin, as far as I can see, is that she supported Measure U.”
Now Miss Vickie, there have NEVER been any attacks on “her” family and marriage on Cactus Thorns Blog. Nope. Never. Nada. Zip. Nyet. Nein. Bu Shi. Nahiin. Nicht. Nunca.
Miss Vickie, you are still pretty ticked off that Measure U was defeated but I have never known you to tell bold face lies! Now I am feeling disappointment towards you because of your unsubstantiated accusations.
Miss Vickie do show the world where there have been such “attacks” hurled about (name redacted) “family and marriage” on this Blog?
Again, let me repeat…there have never been any attacks on family members or marriages on Cactus Thorns.
I’m so disappointed in your letter to the Editor Miss Vickie….what was your title? “Put down the poison pen?”
