Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Benny Ian Mendez, 36, of Las Vegas, NV, Monday (12/24) afternoon for possession of
stolen property, a felony.
Deputies observed a blue all terrain vehicle traveling without a license plate.
Approximately 2:10 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Edgemont Road at Seventh Street and contacted Mendez, the operator.
A computer check showed the 2001 Yamaha was reported stolen out of San Bernardino County in 2010.
Mendez was taken into custody without incident.
He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
