It was a Kumbaya Moment

What threatened to be a leather slapping hells for bells night turned out to be a gathering of like minded folks holding hands and singing “Get on board the Peace Train…..” at last nights water board meeting.

News in a nut shell….. The water board echoed City Council’s request for a joint public meeting. Prior to that they would like to have a meeting of committees. Two blokes from the city two from the Water Board….. no Staff present.

It is about time we get some positive movement on this fire department thing.

All of you who read this blog should be proud of yourselves for changing public opinion and actually getting things done…. Good Job!!

The Water District was very professional and showed they were definitely concerned with looking after the best interests of all the residents that would be affected by the FD issue.

Here’s hoping the City Council will show the same level of maturity and be able to rise above whatever petty issues they have had with the WD in the past and provide the City leadership needed to keep 29 Palms safe.
