On Wednesday, December 12, 2012, deputies responded to an address in the area of Hunter Ridge and Pine Creek, in the city of Menifee, regarding a sexual assault. The father of the victim had discovered a 39-year-old male in bed with his daughter around 1:45 AM.
Prior to deputies arriving on scene, the male suspect jumped out the bedroom window and fled.
The investigation revealed the suspect was known by the victim and her family. Shortly after the assault, deputies responded to the suspect’s residence in the city of Menifee and arrested him.
Jason Freeman, 39 years, from Menifee, was arrested for burglary and lewd acts with a child. Freeman was booked into the Southwest Detention Center.
