Twentynine Palms, CA– This Tuesday night is for me a happiest of occasions. We all worked very hard to see our own Cora Heiser elected in November to a seat on the 29 Palms City Council.

Cora is the last great hope of fair Dealings with local government. A lot of prayers and good will go with her Tuesday Night as she takes on the monumental task of voicing the dreams and aspirations of so many of us that worked so hard to get her elected.

I am so proud of being counted as a Heiser supporter. I am even prouder of her being a regular Jill who saw things were not right and went out and put herself in a position to change those things that need changing.

I know that Cora can and will work with her fellow Council members to do what is best for the whole community, not just for a special few.

I do not expect special favor from Cora nor any member of the council, I do expect to be treated fairly and without prejudice.

I see great things ahead of us if Cora is allowed to work her magic.

This might be our last chance to make a clean go of it as a city…..

So I am asking all of you to show up Tuesday Night at 6 PM to see our newest member of the 29 Palms City Council sworn in and take her seat on the dais.
