Jesus busted with a handgun

On Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., a deputy from the city of Jurupa Valley contacted a victim of a reported assault with a deadly weapon in the 9100 block of Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley. The victim reported an unknown subject struck him with an object resembling a handgun.

Deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team developed leads into the suspect identity and secured a search warrant for his residence.

On Friday, November 16, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. deputies from the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team arrested the adult male suspect as he left his residence in the 4000 block of Kenneth Way, Jurupa Valley. Deputies then executed the search warrant at the residence.

The adult male arrested was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center. He has been identified as:

  • Jesus Uzeta, a 33 year old resident of Jurupa Valley, for assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and violation of parole.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to the safety of the citizens in this community.
