On Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 9:00am, Detective Marc Bracco of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station arrested Jason Haskins, 35 of Lucerne Valley  for unlawful intercourse with a minor.

Detective Bracco’s investigation revealed the 14 year-old female victim met the suspect on a dating website. The victim ran away from home on November 11, 2012 and had Haskins pick her up. Haskins took the victim back to his residence where they spent the next 24 hours together. The victim was then returned home unharmed.

Sheriff’s Detectives served a search warrant as Haskins residence yesterday and recovered evidence in the case. Detectives also found a marijuana grow with approximately 75 plants.

Haskins is currently being held at the Victor Valley Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
