On Thursday, November 08, 2012, about 1:50 A.M., the Blythe Narcotic Enforcement Team (BNET), Colorado River Station deputies and Blythe Police Department officers served a narcotic-related search warrant in the 1500 block area of East Hobsonway, in the city of Blythe.
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of suspected heroin and methamphetamine. Items indicative of drug sales and maintaining a residence for drug activity were also seized. Debra Lee Wright, 51, from Blythe, was arrested and booked into the Blythe Jail for the following violations:
- 11351 H&S- Possession of heroin for sales
- 11378 H&S- Possession of methamphetamine for sales
- 11366 H&S- Maintaining a residence where controlled substances are sold or used
- 11364 H&S- Possession of drug paraphernalia
BNET is a multi-agency narcotic task force participated in by law enforcement agencies in the Blythe-Palo Verde Valley area. BNET’s primary mission is to disrupt narcotic sales and diminish the availability of those drugs, thereby increasing public safety.
