It is Official, Councilwoman Cora Heiser!!!

Its Official , It is Final!! Cora Heiser has won a seat on the Twentynine Palms City Council.

God Bless you Cora Heiser.

Twentynine Palms – City Council
6/6 100.00%
Vote Count Percent
JOHN COLE 1,563 33.23%
CORA HEISER 1,579 33.57%
JOEL A. KLINK 1,561 33.19%
Total 4,703 100.00%

It appears that the difference in the number two position is 2 votes…. That will trigger an automatic recount, unless the candidates concede.

It was a lot of post digging… Careful blogging and withholding my usual vitriol and the candidate Heiser herself staying on message, on point and keeping it a clean election that made it happen.

I could not be happier for my Friend and political ally. She worked so very very hard to win this and deserves being Number One.

Knock, knock, knock, guess who’s knockin’ on that door?

We are hoping for the best – that when they are counted a real change will come to the city.

    What are your thoughts?

Trying to pry political thoughts out of Larry, is like reading “The Life of Pi” — a major Bollywood motion picture production — and wondering what the next turn of the page will bring.

Steve, you know something I don’t… There are five votes on the council and Cora is but one vote. What am I missing??

Currently there is a 3 to 2 voting block on the Council that is backing Warne and RSG. With Cora’s election that will become 2 to 3.
