Expensive suits, luxury cars,a honey mouth and a large carpet bag just wouldn’t power The Little Red Engine. The town council can now get serious about a sewers, as opposed trickery and deception to cover an out-of-control spending frenzy by Mark Nuaimi. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
Lesson Two: City Manager Richard Warne thought he was larger than the courts, bigger than the governor, mightier than the State Legislature and more powerful than the California judicial system.
The lessen to be learned: We desert people are not as stupid as the city manager and town manager wanted us to be.
