Good news The Conservative Members of the US Supreme Court seem to be in good health and should be able to weather the next 4 years.

Bad news is No change in the White House. The make up of both the house and the senate remain in perpetual gridlock.

I would like to tell you all things went the way we had hoped. They have not.
It is a dark night for those of us who hoped for a brighter day. We were beaten at every turn. We have been here before. This is not so much different than 1960, or 1964 or 1976….. we will lick our wounds, regroup and one of our number will pick up the banner and lead us to victory on the next field of battle.

There have been much more perilous times. We as a Republic lived through a bloody Civil War we can live through 4 more years of this…..

The electorate it seems for the most part have made some disturbing choices that if we are not vigilant will lead to fiscal calamity and Ruination of the Republic itself.

Some races at this time remain in flux and we can hope and pray that at least one of  our standard barriers will cross the finish line.

I Pray for the Future. I Pray for the Republic. I pray for my Beloved Constitution.
